Eradicating extreme poverty for all people everywhere by 2030 is a pivotal goal of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. and assistance, including through social protection programmes that address food and nutrition security, should focus on the poorest and most vulnerable segments of the population, including women and young children. Their human rights should be protected.

 “Health is wealth” means that physical and mental well-being is more important than wealth in terms of life satisfaction. It emphasizes that good health is a fundamental goal that everyone should prioritize.

The safe drinking water must be delivered that is pure, wholesome, healthful and potable. Safe water is not necessarily pure, it has some impurities in it. It contains some traces of salts such as magnesium, calcium, carbonates, bicarbonates and others. The degree of purity and safety is a relative term and debatable.

We believe that when people are equipped to care for their most vulnerable, entire communities are lifted. We are actively partnering with community leaders and families in over 20 countries across the globe to lift the burden of extreme poverty.

In today’s world where one can reach the other corner of the world without displacement, education has become an essential part of human life. Even if not that advanced, basic knowledge is necessary for an individual to be aware of society and to thrive in this journey called life. But it is not that easy as there stand many social barriers in the way, of these the most significant is poverty. The concept of the role a child should play in society is still not clear, for example even now poor people take them as a source of income resulting in major issues such as child labor and child trafficking and this deteriorates the child’s lifestyle and thinking. This vicious cycle then is carried on.

We have to learn to maintain a balance between Economy and ecosystem. There are millions of people who don’t still understand the importance of a healthy environment. We cut trees left right and center without really think about the consequences of that this has led to tsunami, land slide, earthquakes as well as Still continues to lead to natural calamities. We generally think of short-term goals rather than long term goals. 
       Then why meant is a free gift of nature and we should respect it rather than abuse it. We must learn to preserve the environment along with growing economy. Often like to go to Hill station or places which are surrounded with nature as it provides a sense of calmness as well as peace. Our peace is also affiliated with the environment and thus I say the environment is priceless cash. It continues to provide for us but we turn a blind eye to it. I think it’s high time we stop abusing our environment and respect it.

Our NGO has worked tirelessly for the needy for years. In that work, we help people who do not fulfill their daily needs, so we work for them to help via small support through Food distribution, cloth distribution, and other small steps.

Needy people like Orphans, Homeless old people, People who live in slums, baggers, etc, all really need to grow up in our society if some capable have come in front of them definitely they will grow in the coming time.

Why is cultural Programme important?

The cultural activities enhance the confidence level for students and artists, which allow students to perform better. Activities will develop the personality for students and artists   for good career.

Our kids and teenagers are the future of the upcoming generations. We can see  kids and teenagers of these generation are in the wave of electronics and technology based goods such as mobile and computer. But the exercise they need in their age, they aren’t getting those. So that our NGO provides some sports events so the kids and teenagers can participate in those events and they wll stay fit and fine.

We works for a NGO where gender dividation is not supported in any cost. We belive in same rights for Men and Women and Children as well. But in the reality some women are still in backward for the society and their cildren are in the same condition as well. Our NGO provides some help for them such as we provide pregnant women some healthy foods, baby food for their children, also we provide some awareness regarding to more and more useage of mobile for kids because it becomes addictive for kids and strikes in their mental health. Our NGO also provides the help for financially unstable kids for their educations purposes.

In our social works we have observed that the Urban people atleast have less issues to face than the Rural people. The Rural people faces so many obstacles in their daily life. Our NGO tries to help them in many orders such as – We arrange camps for skill developments, in the rural places we arrange many events for the people like providing them blankets in winter, We provide solar street lights in dark places, We build for them clean drinking water sources, provide some nutricious food sources, many people till date doesn’t have any bathrooms. Our NGO helps them to get their own. We arrange medical camps in rural places there we provide awareness for almost any known disease in rural places and also we host blood camps there.

Why Sanitation is important?

In the present time our country is highly suffering from stomach health issues mostly in rural places due to unhealthy water consuming. Many times the Rural people suffers from life threatening diseases like Cholera, Typhoid. Our NGO helps those people to get awareness about the Sanitation and we takes some steps like making attached bathrooms and providing them sanitation items like soaps etc.

Electricity is one of  the most necessary thing for living. But many people in rural places does not have electricity supply in their home. Our NGO will provide them the solution for this problem. We are set to provide those people solar system electric supply on their roofs. So they will be able to muse electricity by their own and its also environment friendly. We are starting this project as soon as possible.

“Water is life” it is a folklore in India. But still today there are many people in country who are not able to have drinking water. Almost  50000 people dies from Cholera and other water based diseases. But our NGO has a project to provide some people the Solar system based tubewell. Those Tubewell will provide people drinking water. So the suffering of the rural people will end by this project. We are trying to start this project and help those rural people as soon as possible.

 No one knows when the disaster comes and destroy things. But our NGO is always there to help the needy people. Our NGO have done so many works in some natural disasters. In the “Amphan” and “The Phani” cyclones when the south portion of West Bengal was devastated then our NGO was always there to help those suffering people. We helped many homeless people providing them Tents , foods, drinking water and many other things. During the Covid 19 period we have served people Mask, Sanitizers, and other hygiene products to help nay people. We aware people to wear mask and sanitize their selves to stay safe and secured. 

We always try to help people who have some disabilities in them. Not only people who unable to walk also we help them who are unable to listen or even can’t stand. We help those disable people with accessories such as Wheel Chair, Ear Machine, Elbow Sticks and underarm crutches. They gets help with those accessories and they feels better.

These days people are so busy that they don’t even gets time for exercise. But Yoga is the solution for the best body fitness. Yoga is the old cultural exercise which is losing its identity. Our NGO helps people for Yoga awareness and we organise Yoga camps in rural and urban all places. Basically in the busy world Yoga gives people strength to help their selves mentally and physically.

Almost 150000 people dies in road accidents in India. So safety is needed must. Our NGO arrange Road safety caps to provide people about road safety awareness. Such as not to drink and drive, signals awareness etc.

Why Skill Developement is important for people?

The women in Urban places most of them works in jobs. But still in some rural places women doesn’t works they just stays as housewives. So that they cannot help the family financially. Our NGO helps those women who are housewife to develope some skills to improve their own financial conditions. We provide people Shewing machine operation, seat sewing, Weaving work, Steaching Kantha, making of statues and dolls etc. They can improve theirselves and can be financially stable by that skill developement.

Why creative works are needed in life?

Our nation is famous for its cultural activities and creative works such as Dancing, Singing, Drawing, Sketching, Recitation and Making patachitras. These creative works are getting lost. Creativity is our pride and we are loosing this pride.

Our NGO always help to revive these cultural and creative activities. We organise some cultural programs where these mentioned cultural programs. People can show their abilities in their programs.

IMPORTANCE OF WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

Women’s empowerment can be defined to promoting women’s sense of self-worth, their ability to determine their own choices, and their right to influence social change for themselves and others.

In 2023, we embarked on the latest edition of our Blanket Distribution campaign, focusing on the streets of Santipur, Nadia. Our mission was clear to offer relief to individuals enduring the bitter cold without shelter or basic amenities. Beginning with street distributions, we provided blankets to those living on the roadside, offering protection from the chilling temperatures.

Our efforts didn’t stop with street distributions. We ventured into the slums, visiting families who had migrated to NADIA in search of livelihood opportunities. Door-to-door, we distributed blankets, spreading warmth and compassion to those in need. Additionally, we brought gifts and candies for the children, aiming to bring smiles amidst challenging circumstances.

Beyond the distribution of material aid, our campaign fostered meaningful connections within the community. We took the time to listen to their stories, sharing moments of empathy and understanding. Through these interactions, Blanket Distribution transcended mere charity, becoming a beacon of hope and solidarity.
